Indian Caves State Park
90 miles south of Omaha. Indian Caves is Nebraska's second largest state park with approximately 3,000 acres situated in the wooded Missouri River bluffs. Follow I-29 south to Hwy. 136 (Rockport MO exit). Follow west across Missouri River and through Brownesville NE. Turn Left onto Hwy. 67 about 8 miles south to Indian Caves State Park sign. Follow S64E to the Park. Check with the ranger as to which trails are open to cycling. Maps available at ranger's office. There are many different kinds of wildlife in the park including wild turkeys, owls, deer, fox, and even the rare flying squirrel. Indian Caves offers many features for camping including showers.
