Platte River State Park
25 miles southwest of Omaha NE. Follow Hwy. 50 south from I-80 interchange. Go past Springfield, over the Platte river , through Louisville. About 1.5 miles outside of Louisville, you will turn right at the "Platte River State park" sign. Follow signs to Park. Platte River State Park offers about 8 miles of aggressive singletrack and doubletrack mountain biking. The views from the bluffs are incredible. The wildlife in the park is a sight to see as well. There are certain trails that are not always open to cycling, specifically the horse trails. If you are unsure of what trails are available, please check with the rangers office. State Park Permit is required.
